Our Values and Our Purpose Guide Us

Learnanywhere - Simple and Powerful

Running a high growth tech company comes with it’s benefits and it’s challenges. Whenever we have difficult decisions to make in our business we try and look at the issues from a customer point of view and then use our company values to guide us all the way.

Our purpose is to create jobs in the communities in which we operate and this is how I measure success. Our values are to be flexible, have fun, to contribute, to go the extra mile and to learn all the time.

Webanywhere believes in worthwhile work, people are allowed to work the way they want to (within certain guidelines) and we keep celebrating our successes as a winning team.

We hope you as a customer share some of our values and we look forward to working with you in the future. Our goals are stretching and ambitious – we love our customers and we want to grow our business – let’s keep creating lots of jobs together.

The reason we come to work each day

Webanywhere has come a long way in a short time. I am so proud that the company I started from my bedroom has developed into an organisation with a multimillion pound turnover and thousands of customers, both in the UK and abroad. We now have a staff of over 100 worldwide, with 80 based at the Keighley headquarters.

But this is just the start of the journey; our higher purpose is to create jobs – this is a key driving force for our company and it is why we come to work each day. This year Webanywhere plan to take on 60 more staff in key roles to drive ambitious international expansion plans, as well as to maintain and develop the high standard of customer service and product innovation for which we are known.

Webanywhere are on a recruitment drive, seeking the best and brightest to help fill these new positions in the near future. Current job opportunities span just about every department of the business, with openings in web development, sales, marketing, HR and customer support.

In such a fast growing organisation, the chance for progression is great. We make a great effort to nurture talent, and new management positions are often filled from within the company. We maintain strong ties to Keighley, and are always keen to recruit and develop local talent as part of a commitment to job creation in the town.

Careers day at University Academy Keighley

photo3

Today I went down to the local careers fair at University Academy Keighley. An event organised to help pupils find out about some of the great employment opportunities in our local area.

For me, it was also a chance to show young people that despite the tough economic climate, it’s still possible to take a leap into working life.

I had a great time meeting the school students. The fair was well organised and I was bowled over by everyone’s enthusiasm to get involved.

I’m a big believer in providing opportunities to school leavers in local communities, so we regularly take on interns and work experience candidates to ensure young people get a good start in life. With the commitment displayed today, I’m hoping to see a few faces from University Academy Keighley turn up on our doorstep in the future.
